ASSP Kuwait Chapter Launches 11th international Conference

American Society of Safety Professionals – Kuwait Chapter (ASSP) launched its 11th International HSSE Professional Development Conference & Exhibition & ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Award 2022 at Hotel Safir , Fintas on 5th June 2022.

The 11th International Health Safety Security, Environment & Loss Prevention Professional Development Conference & Exhibition will be organised from 9th & 10th November 2022, in state of Kuwait. with a Theme ‘ Environmental Excellence Through Sustainable Solutions” which will be a premier and prestigious event in Kuwait. The conference is patronized by H.E Minister of Oil, Electricity & Water , State of Kuwait and Endorsed by KPC & Its Subsidiaries and International regulatory bodies like International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), Board of Certified Professional (BCSP), International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), American Business Council of Kuwait (ABCK). The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) will be the Knowledge Partner of the conference.


Like previous conferences the upcoming mega event will feature the Presentation of Technical Papers with e-posters from professionals, students, researchers, young professionals, renowned international & regional speakers, Exclusive program WISE (Women in Safety Excellence). Exhibition of products and services related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Loss prevention Exclusive symposium on current trending HSSE Topics Pre & Post Conference HSSE related Workshops, Executive Panel Discussions with Industry Leaders from the region and overseas. The focus of the conference will be on the environment in particular and expected to provide innovative ideas and solutions to overcome the present day Environmental Challenges of the industry & Society.


Addressing at the event Eng Fadhel Al Ali , Chairman, ASSP Kuwait Chapter thanked Kuwait Petroleum Corporation & its subsidiaries for the continuous support and said that the upcoming conference will address some of the key issues on the challenges of the industries facing at the current scenario. He invited all the corporates and individuals to be part of the upcoming conference.

Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Duaij, DCEO , Support Services, KNPC the chief guest of the event emphasized on the importance of the safety culture to be adopted in the day to day life. He appreciated the efforts of ASSP Kuwait Chapter for its commendable job being carried out in the state of Kuwait

The addresses were followed by Official conference brochure launching ceremony with all the dignitaries. The event also featured the launch of ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Award 2022. The American Society of Safety Professionals-Kuwait chapter instituted the award, since 2009. The award scheme is devised to recognize and reward those GCC private sector organizations who have been successful over the course of the years in managing the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment risks of workplace, development and performance of its HSE Management System.
