Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad, Kuwait (BPP) conducts free medical camps

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – celebrating 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence, Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad, Kuwait in association with Badr Al Samaa Clinic, conducted free medical camps.

First medical camp was conducted on 20th May 2022 and second camp on 10th June 2022. The free package included blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, liver screening test, kidney screening test and doctor consultation. More than 300 people got benefitted from the medical camps, including many from labor camps.

ENT specialist Dr. Soumya R Shetty, social activist Shri Manoj Mavelikkara and former president of Udupi Mandal Rotary Club Shri Nagaraj Tantri were special guests for the first medical camp. The function was presided by Mr. Binoy Sebastian (President – BPP Kuwait). Mr. Raj Bhandari (Joint Secretary – BPP Kuwait) welcomed the attendees and Mr. Sudhir V Menon (General Secretary – BPP Kuwait) addressed the gathering. Mr. Jaishankar (BPP Farwaniya area Vice President) proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The second medical Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Anurag Girija Venugopal and Mrs. Reshmi Naveen (Convenor, Stree Shakthi) proposed the Vote of Thanks.

BPP Kuwait thanked everyone who made these camps successful and beneficial to the needy. Also they specially thanked Kumari Rea Sabu Pillai, Kumari Sanvi Rajesh Acharya & Kumari Shreya Lakshmi for their active support towards the event.
