This happens everyday

She was 8 months
Became the girl the world won’t forget

He was 1
When he was beaten
By someone who was supposed to care for him
He was 2
When he was abused for long
She was 3
When no one heard her screams and cries
Killed by her own parents...
He was 4
When he was locked behind that door
She was 5
When no one were there for her
He was 6
When he was raped by his own blood

They were kids when they were stripped off their innocence
It’s their bloods
In our veins
How is it supposed to be forgotten?

They want to go home
While they are in their house

Knees pried open
Touched by all the wrong people
Now, even in a bed of full safety
They are afraid, traumatized, scared.
It’s the fear that it will be back

I am tired of seeing people raped
I am tired of seeing headlines of this happening
I am tired of seeing people traumatized
I am tired of seeing people dying

When will this end?
When will this stop?
When?
Is what I wonder

(Around the world, only 2% of rapists are convicted and imprisoned. The remaining monsters are out there on the streets living freely. Sometimes, we might even walk past one, we never know. Fight for yourself! Report to the police is the first step, you are a really strong person. Fight for your justice.)
