MATCH 13

Kuwait XI Vs Pakistan XI .

Pakistan XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Pakistan XI scored 285 for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs - the highest score of the 6 Nations T20 Festival. It was raining sixes at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground with as many as 26 sixes in the Pak XI innings. Adnan Idress scored a mammoth 163 runs in 65 balls with 9 fours and 16 sixes. Muhammad Khalid Butt scored 52 runs in 33 balls. Ahsan Ul-Haq gave a perfect finish to Pak XI by scoring 30 runs in 11 balls. Mohamed Raashiq , Abdulrahman Al Kendari and Muzammil Khalid picked one wicket each . Pakistan XI bowlers were on the money from the very first over. Fahad Bastaki scored 15 runs in 27 balls . Pakistan XI bowlers picked wickets on regular intervals and bowled out Kuwait XI for 57 runs in 18.2 overs. Imran Ali bowled a crazy spell with 4 maiden overs and 4 wickets to his name. Pakistan XI won by 228 runs. Adnan Idress from Pakistan XI was awarded the Man Of The Match for his splendid batting performance scoring the highest individual score of the tournament i.e 163 runs in 65 balls

MATCH 14

India XI Vs Sri Lanka XI

India XI won the toss and elected to bat first . India XI were bowled out for 75 in 17.2 overs. Usman Gani scored 26 runs in 22 balls. Exceptional bowling performance by the Sri Lankan bowlers. Ravindu Sanjeewa was the pick of the bowlers picking 3 wickets in 4 overs and conceding only 13 runs. Sri Lanka XI chased down the target in 10.1 overs for the loss of 2 wickets with Ravija Sandurawan scoring 45 runs in 28 balls and Ravindu Sanjeewa playing the anchoring role by scoring 26 runs in 23 balls . Indian bowlers couldn’t do much as the target was never enough. Yasin Patel picked up 1 wicket in his four overs spell. Sri Lanka XI won by 8 wickets. Ranvindu Sanjeewa from Sri Lanka XI was awarded the Man Of The Match for his splendid all round performance scoring an unbeaten 26 runs in 23 balls and picking up 3 wickets in 4 overs at an economy of 3.25.
