TKS presented rocking Musical Extravaganza

Telugu Kala Samithi(TKS) successfully organized the magnificent live concert “Suswara Thamaneeyam” jointly presented by All Mulla Exchange, co-sponsored by platinum partner Subhodayam Infra, and powered by Metro medical.

This splendid event was much awaited ever since covid began and it definitely met the high expectations. The 34 years long TKS journey has added yet another feather on its cap with this mega musical event. TKS President Mr. Sai Subbarao and its executive committee’s commendable effort in making “ Suswara Tamaneeyam“ a great success was well-appreciated by the much celebrated music virtuoso Mr Thaman and his stellar cast.

TKS, a non-profitable socio-cultural organisation holds great pride in welfare of its members by conducting events like blood donations, Telugu competitions, promoting local talents, conducting cultural events and celebrating Indian festivals.

The members of Telugu Kala Samithi event paid tribute to the great legends of telugu music industry Sri S P Balasubramanyam and Sri Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry with a speech followed by dance performance to the great hits of these legends. The committee felicitated the sponsors for being a huge support in making this mega event a grand success. Mr Kamal Singh Rathore the First Secretary from the Indian Embassy also attended this mega musical event and spoke to the audience on the importance of passing on Indian culture and Indian history to the younger generations and TKS is doing a great job in this area by hosting such events. TKS President Mr. Subbarao also spoke about the history of TKS and its activities.

The young and leading music director from Telugu Film Industry, Mr SS Thaman and his troupe of leading playback singers gave “Bhomma Blockbuster performance” (common phrase used by SS Thaman as a judge in Telugu Indian Idol ) as the eight singers walked the audience through Mr Thaman’s musical journey, the stories behind the blockbuster music extravaganza and his stepping stones to success.

The spectacular evening of June 3rd fulfilled its promise to its members and sponsors as heartbeats rose to the beats of SS Thaman.

TKS General Secretary, Mr. Sreevatsa concluded the evening with his Vote of Thanks, in which he thanked all the sponsors, committee members, advisory committee members, ladies committee members, volunteers, well-wishers and the American International School management. He also conveyed his gratitude to Mr. Nasser Rashidi, who lent his support for obtaining the visas for all the artists. Mr. Nasser Rashidi during his speech spoke of the Indian diaspora who are as brand ambassadors of the country in Kuwait and praised the work done by Telugu Kala Samithi and Indians in general.
