New Indian School, Mangaf held its Investiture Program

New Indian School held its Investiture 2022 -23 on 17th May 22, It was a proud moment for all parents to witness their children being invested as they embarked on a new journey as leaders. The ceremony was a presided over by officials from the Al - Jery Company. Mr. Ahmed Abdul Maaboud (Finance manager), Ms. Anoud Al Matouq (Supervisor for Foreign Schools).

The guests were given reverential salute, by members of Student Council, while they ceremoniously ushered to the auditorium by the staff of school. An official welcome speech was given by Aarthy Kumari of grade 8, Holy Quran was recited by Mohammad Ahmed Abd Alnabi of grade 7. The proceedings of the day began with the grand “MARCHING IN” of Student Council members, in perfect synchronization with drum beats and army band music. The newly designated Student Council members were democratically elected by students of New Indian School. The election was indeed a great learning experience for students as it was simulation of the Parliament elections back in India. Students learnt about filing of nomination, campaign speech, use of ballet papers and finally the skill of accepting the defeat with grace and victory with humility. Therefore, the student Investiture was a truly a memorable moment for all of them and not just for the Student Council members.

The Chief Guest adorned the Student Council members with badges, sashes and flags while the auditorium reverberated with roaring applause and excited cheering. Principal Ms. Anita. Sadanand administered the oath to the Student Council members, the auditorium once again resonated with roaring applause. The Head Boy Saleem Mohammed Sayyadi and Head Girl Malak Louai, delivered the acceptance speech which were filled with high promises and devotion to institution.

At the end of Investiture program the students were honored for their scholastic achievement of the year 2021-2022. It was a proud moment for parents to see their children getting rewarded for hard work of 2021 – 2022.

Classical dance by Jahnavi Grampurohit of grade 6, motivational group song by the students of grade 4 and 5 added further beauty to the program. The event concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Farah Adel Bin Mohammad Al of grade 8. The emcees of day were Rithika Sunil Nair Vallia Veettil and Amnah Radhi Abboud Almohammad.
