Electricity disconnected from 47 chalets in Khairan area

The Judicial Enforcement Team of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, with the assistance of Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance and the Electrical Distribution Networks Sector, carried out a campaign to disconnect the electricity to the violating chalets in Al-Khairan, Al-Zour and Nuwaiseeb area.
The team managed to cut off electricity to 47 violating chalets, including some chalets which connected the power by violating the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Electricity.
The campaign will continue till all violations are corrected, officials told.
