While the Ministry of Health continues its preparations to open a new medical test center for expatriates at the Mishref Exhibition Grounds, huge crowd continues at the existing centers in Shuwaikh and Jahra.

This also causing difficulty for citizens in completing their transactions, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The presence of company representatives makes the matters even worse because they come with a bunch of requests, report added.

The huge rush at these centers demand for an urgent inauguration of the new center in Mishref, to ensure that their transactions are completed quickly and eliminate long queues, which have become a chronic phenomenon that the labor examination centers suffer from.

The visitors are coming to the center early morning, say 4:00 am etc to get into the queue in the hope of getting their transactions completed although they book an appointment via the prebooking system. According to visitors, the online appointments are currently unavailable until May 26. The delay in completing the medical examination may also lead to fine for the sponsor. The delay may also make the visitor become violators of the residence law for no fault of theirs, report added.
