Traffic campaign resumed after Ramadan; 950 violations registered in 3 hour

The traffic security campaigns resumed after the holy month of Ramadan and the campaign at Ardiya Industrial Area resulted in registering number violations and issuing tickets to many motorist.

The campaign held on the instructions of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas, and in the presence and supervision of the Assistant Undersecretary for the Traffic Sector, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, on Wednesday evening, resulted in registering number of serious violations, within 3 hours.

During the campaign, around 950 direct violations were registered, which including expired driving licenses, expired vehicle ownership, shading windows and noises.

During the campaign 6 juveniles were arrested and are referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.

Three expatriates were arrested for driving vehicles without driver's licenses.
