Increase in demand for domestic workers from Sudan

According to the latest statistical report by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and Ministry of Interior, Kuwait witnessed an increase in the number of domestic workers from Sudan.

The increase is seen among Sudanese men for various jobs particularly the drivers.

The Sudanese are now part of the top 10 nationalities working in the domestic labor sector, while the Ivory Coast is no longer part of the list; recording a significant decrease in the number of workers from Ivory Coast in 2021 compared to the previous year, Al-Qabas daily reported quoting the statistics. The number of Ethiopian workers was also recorded a sharp decrease.
