KDNA celebrated Eid Al Fitr

Kozhikode District NRI Association (KDNA) conducted Eid Al Fitr together with much warmth and enthusiasm on the second day of Eid. It facilitated a great platform for its members and their families to exchange Eid greetings and respects which is the hallmark of Eid. The program was filled with sincere expressions of reunion after restrictions being lifted compared to last years.

The formal opening program was Presided by acting president Krishnan Kadalundi. General Secretary Zubair M. M. Welcomed the audience and Advisory Board Member Suresh Mathur delivered the Eid Al Fitr message. In the solemn function, KDNA honored its medical wing joint convener Vijesh Velayudan for winning Asianet News Nursing Excellence Award ( in Covid warrior category) for his excellent service during the Pandemic. It is an honor for KDNA medical wing which is rendering great service to the needy in possible manner.

Writer Dharmaraj Madapally, program convener Mansoor Alakkal, Women’s Forum President Shahina Zubair, Fahaheel area treasurer Sulfiquer MP, Abbasiya Area president Thulaseedhran Thottakara, Salmiya Area treasurer Jayapraksh Elathur, Auditor Aeez Thikkodi, representatives of Sponsors Al Mulla Exchange, Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Metro Medical care delivered felicitation speeches and Vice President Praju TM rendered vote of thanks.

The speakers highlighted the great human values which Eid conveys like paying attention for those who are suffering and underprivileged and elderly and to cultivate mutual respect and understanding and to strengthen family bondage.Songs rendered and led by Famous singers Rafi Kallai, Anwar Sarang, Shyama, Sameer Vellayil, Kabeer Calicut, along with KDNA talents like Ayaan Mathur, Rajitha Thulasidharan, Azeez Mattuvayal, Jisha Suresh, Rishikesh, Anas Puthiyottil, Amina Alia Rafi also added to the glitter of the function.

Dance Numbers by Couples Dharmaraj-Dillara, Vyshnav, Thara Thulaseedharan, Rituparna Rajesh, Aysha Zahra, Fathima Liba enthralled the audience.
Joint convener Abdurahman MP, Arts Secretary Firoz Nalakath, Vice president Zaheer Alakkal, Sports Secteatary Ramachandran Peringolam, Membership Secretary Ubaid Chakkittakandi, Abbasiya Area General Secretary Shyam Prasad, Woman’s Forum Treasurer Ansheera Sulfiquer, Farwaniya Area General Secretary Haneefa Kuttichira, Fahaheel Area General secretary Prathupnan, Shajahan, Mohammed Ashraf, Central Executive Members, woman’s Forum office bearers, Area office bearers among the few coordinated the event.

Children enjoyed the Quiz program conducted for them and many prices was distributed for the winners and participants.The snacks and dinner served marked and conveyed the hospitality to the participants which is KDNA always cares about. Overall the function was a reflection of good speeches, quiz and exchange of greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
