Thursday, May 5, 2022

Celebrating festivals brings children closer to traditional believes and helps them imbibe the values of sharing and caring. Eid translates to “the festival of breaking the fast”, marking it as a celebration of the ending of the month-long fast of Ramadan. It is also a celebration of giving, sharing and caring.

A special occasion like Eid brings lots of happiness when celebrated with our loved ones. The tiny tots of IES celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on April 28, 2022, with great excitement and exuberance. The day became bright and sunny as the cheerful kids who came dressed in colourful traditional clothes kindled the spirit of the festival.

The teachers decorated the bulletin boards with moons and stars to mark the occasion which was a delightful sight for the students.

The students of LKG had fun making colourful cards decorating the Hilal Moon and stars with glitters.

The students of UKG enjoyed making stars and moon with paper plates to depict the festival.

The Kindergarteners of IES, portrayed their joy of giving by sharing their snacks happily with their friends and aunties. It was wonderful to see the students celebrate the festival.

“May our little ones grow up to be the beacon of light on every path they tread!”
