The Joys of Childhood Toy day Celebation at IES Kindergarten

“The best toys are like unicorns. They include enough horse to seem real, but enough horn to become magical.”

Toys are important as no one ever forgets a toy that made him or her supremely happy as a child. A favorite toy is irreplaceable. It’s not the price or the brand of the toy, but the emotional bond that a child forms with it that matters the most. Toys play a pivotal role by improving children’s imagination and value of sharing. We need to nurture their creativity and imagination by giving them opportunities to play with toys that will make them love their childhood.

To boost up the insight and visualization of our tiny tots, IES Kindergarten celebrated ‘Toys: The Joys of Childhood’ on April 28, 2022. The classrooms and corridors vibrated with the voices of joy, enthusiasm, and innocence. Children brought their favorite toys, exhibited them before their friends and talked about them. Children coming in happily hugging their toys in the morning was a sight to behold! Capturing their contentment in proudly presenting their toys was the major highlight of the day. To accelerate the fun and exhilaration, we conducted activities that would unleash their artistic and imaginative abilities. LKG kids made popsicle puppets and UKG kids made beautiful toy school buses using paper plates.

It was such a colorful and happening day that everybody discovered the hidden child in them. The day made us realize that there is no age, time, or situation to play with toys. You make and play with them to find the child in you.
“May our little ones never lose the child in them and may the joys of childhood be with them lifelong!”
