Deeds in the month of Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is a blessed month that Allah has provided us. Although, It is a month where we can utilize it for good deeds like fasting, charity, etc., Some people claim that good deeds are multiplied in Ramadan but there isn’t any authentic hadeeth to prove this, It is preferred to make good deeds during this blessed month.
Narrated from Abu Maqa’il,
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:-

“Umrah during Ramadan is equal to Hajj”

Sunan-Ibn-Majah 2993 (Sahih)

From this authentic hadeeth, We can understand that Ramadan is indeed a blessed month. In this blessed month, Allah has commanded us to fast during the month of Ramadan. We should obey Allah and we should fast obediently as Allah has commanded us to do so and without any cheating as cheating is an insolence behaviour. The reward for fasting is from Allah and in the sight of Allah, the smell from the mouth of a fasting person is better than the smell of musk in the sight of Allah, Subhanallah!

Narrated Abu Huraira,
The Prophet (ﷺ) said that your Lord said, "Every (sinful) deed can be expiated; and the fast is for Me, so I will give the reward for it; and the smell which comes out of the mouth of a fasting person, is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." (See Hadith No. 584)

Sahih al-Bukhari 7538

We should make use of this blessed month that Allah has provided us and we ask Allah to grant this Ramadan, a month where Allah is pleased with us. Ameen!
