ICSK Khaitan held 'AASHIRVAAD' Ceremony

The virtual platform of ICSK Khaitan echoed with the blessings on the eve of Saturday, 12th March 2022 when the ICSK family came together to bid farewell to the outgoing batch of class XII. The event began reciting the verses from the Holy Quran followed by the lamp lighting and national anthem of Kuwait. A semi classical dance performed by Joyelin, the dancing damsel of ICSK Khaitan invoked the Blessings. A warm welcome speech was delivered by the school Principal K.G. Shirsath. He showered his blessings and best wishes to the young aspirants and encouraged them to move ahead in life with perseverance and confidence. His power of words rejuvenated them physically and emotionally while he emphasized that they must carry the values which ICSK had inculcated in them, wherever they go.

The benign presence of the Chief guest Dr. Karamjeet Singh was a blessing to the students of class XII. Dr. Karamjeet Singh is the Vice Chancellor of Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, India. Dr. Singh was the Registrar of Panjab University, Chandigarh and Professor in Finance & Strategic Management, University Business School, Panjab University and Chandigarh. Besides, he is the former President of Indian Accounting Association. Dr.Singh has 3 and half decades of experience in teaching and research. He very positively impacted and guided the future life and career of the students and shared his direct experiences. Honourable board of trustees, Principals, Vice principals and Deputy Vice principals of all branches graced the function with their eminent presence and showered their blessings upon the farewell batch.

On behalf of all parents, Mr. Jithesh M.P enlightened the students with his inspirational speech and advised them to believe in themselves and to do hard work which will surely lead them ahead. The valedictory message by the Supervisor Mrs. Sumitha Shanmugan left an indelible impact on the students. She shared her memories and advised her dear students to make a continuous effort towards their goals until they achieve it completely. Representing science, commerce and humanities batch respectively, Master. Theo Mathew, Master. Ahmed Layan and Ms. Aysha Sheeraz, thanked and expressed their deep love and gratitude to the Principal and teachers who had consistently guided them in the right direction throughout the years.

They reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it is for them to go out of the portals of their alma mater. The spate of cultural events commenced with a motivational song followed by a captivating dance performance by the junior batch beguiled everyone and took over the scene. Awards and mementoes for different positions honouring each and every student were distributed by the dignitaries for their achievement over years. Titles like Best Academician-Ahmed Layan, Best Artist-Aylin Sheby, Best Sportsperson-Ibrahim Hasib, Best Leader-Akash Alexes, Best All Rounder-Grita Godley were distributed. Showers of blessing poured through a touching video presented by teachers and a lovely video dedicated by class XI showed all the warmth and love they have for their beloved ones.

In the exhortation, Deputy Vice Principal Mrs. Sushmeeta Prakash, incited the outgoing batch to optimize their goals and never settle for less. She urged them to resort goodness and hold on to the golden keys of determination, hard work and courage and to pass on the legacy of human values and virtues to the next generation. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks by the social science Asst. Hod Mrs. T.K. Sharanyadevi. Thanking the entire school fraternity for supporting them strongly in this grand programme, she appreciated the efforts of parents and commendable performances of students and wished them the best in all the future endeavours. She said, “Imagine with all your mind, believe with all your heart, achieve with all your might.” Thus, the programme ended with Indian national anthem along with the devout blessings from the guests, teachers and parents.
