Ramadan - A month of worship

Ramadan is the month of worship. Ramadan is a special month for Muslims. It is the month of fasting, where Muslims will be fasting until the sunset. Ramadan will start on seeing the crescent. The people will fast for 14hrs. Fasting Ramadan is one of the Pillars of Islam it is an obligation on Muslims. The people will decorate their houses with lanterns. During sunset, the food will be ready. Ramadan is known for the tall dining table which is filled with traditional food. There are some special recipes that will be added only during Ramadan. There is a sweet called (Luqaimat) it is a special sweet for Arabs in Ramadan. (Samosa) is also a special dish for Ramadan, and it is also an Indian dish. (Grape leaves) it is one of the recipes on the Ramadan dining table. (Lentil soup) is also one of the most important dishes for Ramadan. The people will start with eating dates and milk as our prophet Mohamad was doing. In Ramadan, the Quran came from God. On these blessed days the Muslim they will read very much from Quran. After fasting, the people will go to pray together. The relatives will visit each other and happiness spread everywhere. The last ten days of Ramadan is a blessed days. In the last ten days, people will pray the Night prayer which is a special prayer.
