Birth Anniversary of ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’ celebrated in Kuwait

Embassy of India in Kuwait celebrated Parakram Diwas (Day of Valour) on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on January 23, 2022.

Ambassador of India to Kuwait HE Shri Sibi George unveiled the life-size portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Embassy. He also addressed the Indian Diaspora and representatives of Indian associations in Kuwait through virtual platform. Ambassador in his remarks underlined the crucial role played by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in India’s struggle for freedom. He said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a great son of India who had left an indelible imprint on India’s freedom struggle. He had stirred the imagination of millions of Indians particularly the youth of India through his thoughts, words, and deeds. He continues to be a role model and great inspiration for all Indians.





Videos of address by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, on the occasion of Parakram Diwas was screened during the event.

The event was concluded by paying floral tribute at the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
