Cold weather to improve by Monday

Meteorologist Muhammad Karam expected that the cold weather that dominated the country during the end of last weekend will continue until Sunday and will ease by Monday. The maximum temperature in Kuwait City and its suburbs during the past three days ranged between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius while the Salmi area recorded -2 degrees on Saturday morning.

On Friday early morning, Salmi region recorded zero degree and on Saturday it recorded minus two degrees, while the Mutriba region recorded zero degrees Celsius.

Karam pointed out that the maximum temperature during the next three days will be between 15 and 17 degrees. The temperature is expected to remain below 20 degrees Celsius until Thursday, while the weather remains cold at night, reaching below 8 degrees Celsius in the city, and dropping to less than 5 degrees in the open areas.
