Kuwait Airport suspended due to bad weather

Due to bad weather and thick fog, the Kuwait International airport suspended the take-off and landing Wednesday night.

Few of the flights were diverted to nearby airports due to the difficulty in landing.

According to sources, more than 10 incoming planes were diverted to neighboring countries.

The Meteorological Department warned that the fog that dominates the skies over Kuwait leads to a decrease in horizontal visibility to less than 1000 m, and it may be absent in some areas.
