Move to reduce quarantine period to 7 days for vaccinated

The Kuwait cabinet may discuss a proposal to reduce the quarantine days for those who are vaccinated with two doses of Covid vaccine. According to Al-Rai Arabic daily report, the Ministry of Health is moving to adopt positive changes regarding the duration of the quarantine for people infected with the Corona virus or those in contact with it.

Daily added that the move is to reduce the quarantine period to 7 days for vaccinated people who received two doses and not completed 9 months after receiving the second dose. Quarantine period will be for 14 days for those who are not vaccinated or did not took booster dose and completed nine months after second dose.

Meanwhile a decision on this is expected to be taken in the next Cabinet meeting.
