Kuwait may start Rapid Antigen test at Pharmacies to detect Covid

The Ministry of Health is in the process of adopting the Rapid Antigen Test through pharmacies and laboratories to quickly detect the Covid infection.

According to Al-Rai Arabic news paper report, adopting this test method through pharmacies and laboratories and linking it with the Ministry of Health's automated system helps to monitor any new infection or suspected case at early stage. The Ministry is working to provide appropriate quantities of examination kits, report added.

Health authorities generally encourage the use of the Rapid Antigen Test at home, as a matter of reassurance in the event of doubts about any symptoms, or before attending any social occasion, family gatherings or visits to the elderly.
