278 complaints registered by domestic workers

The Public Authority for Manpower PAM informed that 278 complaints were registered from domestic workers against their employers. This is in addition to resolving 201 complaints amicably, Al-Qabas Arabic daily reported.

The statistics issued by the Domestic Labor Recruitment Department for the month of December indicated that 278 complaints were registered from domestic workers against their employers. This is in addition to resolving 201 complaints amicably.

19 complaints were referred to the judiciary and in 46 cases, the owners were instructed to hand over the workers passport.
