Plan for Fourth dose of vaccine for select category

Kuwait is considering to provide fourth dose of vaccine to some category of people including patients with weak immunity and those with most at risk of infection, local Arabic daily Al-Rai reported.

The cabinet advised people to take rapidly a booster shot of the anti-coronavirus vaccine to avoid this current wave of the pandemic.

These measures came after the daily numbers recorded a significant jump in the number of infection, which reached 982 during the past 24 hours, an increase of 62 percent compared to the day before yesterday (609 infection).
