Kala Art Kuwait “NIRAM 2021” Winners Prizes Presented by H. E. Mr. Sibi George

Kala (Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2021” Children’s Day painting competition has concluded with the prize distribution to all winners at Indian Embassy on Tuesday, 28th December 2021 at 5 pm. H. E. Mr. Sibi George, The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, has presented mementos, medals, certificates and gifts to main prize winners.

The Painting competition Niram – 2021 was conducted at Online Platform on 12th November 2021 on the occasion of the birthday of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India. It is worthwhile to note that students of different nationalities from all 24 Indian Schools in Kuwait with active participation of more than 2700 children in the competition. The competition was held in four groups in drawing, painting and clay sculpture.

H. E. presented mementos to the school representatives who won the Overall Championship, 1st Position to Learners Own Academy, Abbassiya received by Ms. Asha Sharma, Principal, 2nd Position – Smart Indian School, Abbasiya received by Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Principal, 3rd Position - IES-Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Abbassiya received by Ms. Bhavitha Bright and C. Bhaskaran Memorial Trophy to Learners Own Academy received by Dr. Sheeba Balraj, Vice Principal, the school from which maximum numbers of students were participated in this event, as a tribute to Late. Mr. C Bhaskaran, one of the founder and advisory board member of Kala (Art) Kuwait.

The prizes distributed among, Five 1st Prizes in to each group, Seven 2nd Prizes and Eight 3rd prizes. The first place winners of each group received a Gold Coin sponsored by Malabar Gold and Gold medal, Second place winner with silver medal and Third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento, certificate and American Tourister Sponsored Bag.

Panel of Judges Artist Sasi Krishnan, Artist M. V. John, and Artist Sunil Kulanada were honored by H. E. by giving mementos in recognition of their laudable contributions in the field of Arts.

The event were coordinated and controlled by Kala (Art) Kuwait. President Mukesh V. P., General Secretary Siva Kumar, Program General Convener Jaison Joseph, Treasurer Hassan Koya, Executive Members Sunil Kumar, Ragesh Parambath, Mustafa M. V, Jyothi Sivakumar and Namitha.

Kala (Art) Kuwait takes this opportunity to extend their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to H. E. as well as Embassy Officials. Also Kala (Art) Kuwait thanked all the participants, School Managements, Parents, Art Teachers, Sponsors, All Indian Associations, Kuwait's English dailies, Web Portals and Malayalam Medias for their wholehearted support to make the event a grand success.

Group-C: Ist Prize- Sreyas Vemulavada, 6th Std., Learners Own Academy. IInd Prize- Naveenkrish Sajiesh, 6th Std, Learners Own Academy, IIIrd Prize- Sivesh Senthilkumar, 8th Std., Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian private School & Jenna Mary Jobin, 8th Std, Learners Own Academy.
