Indian Central School organized Post Card campaign for students

As part of the ongoing celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), the Department of Post (DOP), Ministry of Communication, Government of India along with the Department of School Education and Literacy, Indian Central School, Kuwait organized a Post Card campaign for the students of Classes IV to XI in the School Campus. The Social Science Department did a laudable job by initiating this program much to the excitement of the youngsters. Principal, Sujata Sivakrishnan lauded the efforts of the Teachers, the HOD History, Nafisa Sheikh and HOD Geography, Collins Angela Coutinho, who coordinated this creative activity.

The students were given two Topics-UNSUNG HEROES OF INDIA’S STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM AND MY VISION FOR INDIA – 2047, to write on the Post Cards sent to the School by the Indian Embassy, Kuwait. The young generation had the novel experience of actually dropping a Post Card in the letterbox and thus being a part of the 75 lakh Post Card Campaign Program.
