New Smart chip based Civil ID card for Article 20

The Public Authority for Civil Information PACI announced the launch of a new Civil ID card for residents who under Article 20 (Domestic employment).

Unlike the current card, the new card contains a smart chip, PACI informed.

The old card will remain valid until its expiry date and no need to apply for the change of card before its expiry, officials informed.
