Move to link booster dose to Immunity and My Kuwait Mobile ID app

The Corona Emergency Committee submitted new recommendations to the Council of Ministers to speed up the booster dose among the residents.

According to local Arabic media report, the recommendation is to link booster dose to the immunity app and My Kuwait ID app, and alerts will be given through notifications of vaccination appointments. This recommendation is expected to be approved soon, local daily reported.

The report indicated that those who fail to take booster dose will return to the orange color instead of green, and it is likely that they will be prevented from using some facilities which are meant for the fully vaccinated people.

The Corona Emergency Committee and other relevant authorities will circulate strict recommendations on the need to adhere to health requirements, especially in commercial complexes, ministries, mosques, public transport and others, and not to relax in the current period.
