PAM to intensify residency violation checking in coming days

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) resumed the work of inspection committees, which will be regulating the labor market and track down expatriate workers who violated the Residency Law.

The inspection committees started working again after a two-month hiatus, following the Interior Ministry’s decision to suspend such inspection campaigns due to overcrowding in the deportation cell.

The committee will check the expatriate labours who work for other employers while their residencies are registered under another sponsor. The inspection campaigns will be intensified in the coming days, sources said.
