Kuwait deports 211 expatriates annually due to AIDS

According to statistics, Kuwait deported 23,733 expatriates in last 10 year due to infectious disease including AIDS. An average of 211 expats have been deported annually for testing positive for AIDS, local daily Al-Rai reported quoting sources, whereas others were deported for Malaria, Filariasis, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B and C.

2355 expatriates were deported for infectious disease in the year 2019. Previous years, the data are as follows: 2018 (2468), 2017 (2931), 2016 (2470), 2015 (2847), 2014 (2724), 2013 (2360), 2012 (1921), 2011 (1843), 2010 (1814).
