Mini bus with 493 bottles of locally made liquor seized

The General Traffic Department seized a mini bus with 493 bottles of locally made liquor, near the Friday Market in Al-Rai.

According to report, the Farwaniya Governorate traffic patrolmen, led by Major Salem Abdullah Al-Radaan, launched a traffic campaign in the vicinity of the Friday market to arrest violators and issue traffic violations. During the campaign, policemen noticed a minibus parked in front of the Friday market in a suspicious manner and inspected the bus. Upon inspection, policemen found 493 water bottles inside, which after examining found out to be locally made liquor.

Authorities seized the vehicle and referred it to the competent authority to take legal measures and to find out its owner.
