Saradhi Kuwait commemorated its 22nd Anniversary – “Saradheeyam-2021”

Upholding its ideology of “Service to Humanity”, Saradhi Kuwait being one of the biggest Sree Narayana Associations in the Middle East, commemorated its 22nd Anniversary – Saradheeyam-2021. Considering the Pandemic scenario, the event was hosted online due to safety concerns, which eventually resulted in an unprecedented viewership of over 10K.
His Excellency, The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Sri. Sibi George inaugurated the function which started with Daivadashakam, the universal prayer, rendered for the first time in Arabic language.
Outstanding personalities from different walks of life who supported the society during the Covid phase through their selfless service were honored with the prestigious Dr. Padmanabhan Palpu Outstanding Award. The recipient of Dr. Palpu NethruYoga Award was Sri. Suresh K.P, Dr. Amir Ahmad, Sri. Babuji Batheri & Sri. Sharaffudin Kanneth. Thereafter, Dr. Palpu KarmaYoga Award was bestowed to Sri. Ajithkumar.R, Sri. Liyo Jose, Sri. Abdul Sageer, Sri. Pratabh Chandran & Sri. Raghubal. Finally, the Dr. Palpu AyurYoga Award was received by Sri. Vijesh Velayudhan, Sri. Mejith & Mrs. Jitha Manoj.
The Outstanding Service & Contribution Award of Saradhi Kuwait, the KarmaShreshta Award was bestowed to Mr. C.S. Babu. Two Saradhi Members, Mr. Sanal Kumar & Mr. Shaji Sreedharan was honored with the prestigious ‘Saradheeyan of the Year’ title in recognition to their outstanding service for Saradhi as well as for the Society.
The Covid Warriors Award & memento was received by the Area Coordinators of the Medical Team, Mrs. Deepa Reji, Mrs. Pyari Omanakuttan, Mrs. Rani Vasudevan & Mr. Manu Mohan. Also, the representatives from the 14 Units of Saradhi Kuwait collected the Mementos on behalf of all the Medical Team from each units. Mr. Ajith Anandan, Chief Coordinator of the Crisis Management Team collected the Memento on behalf of his Team.
Sharadhamba Excellence Award including Cash prize & Memento was distributed to 28 outstanding students from 10th & 12th grade.
The event was graced by the presence of Sri. Satchidananda Swamy from Sivagiri Mutt, Marthoma Metropolita Mar Theodosius, Sri. V.K. Muhammad & BEC General Manager Mathews Varughese.
Online connectivity scope of this event brought in a worldwide participation with felicitations from Sri. Baiju Peringathara (UK), Sri. Prasad Sreedharan (UAE), Sri. Jayadev Unnikrishnan (Singapore) & Sri. Sadasivan Sukumaran (USA).
Saradheeyam-2021, envisioned with the aim of uplifting the lives of the unlucky Covid victims, witnessed the announcement of Saradhi President Mr. Sajeev Narayanan in undertaking the responsibility of supporting the family of Late. Mr. Rajesh Krishnan who succumbed to Covid this year. A dream House for the family and educational expenses for the two children will be borne by Saradhi Kuwait. In addition to this, Saradhi President also declared the initiation of the next Dream House project for another deserving recipient.
‘Avasthandaram’, a theatrical Drama depicting the life of bachelors during Pre-Covid, Covid & Post Covid period was heart touchingly presented by talented artists from Saradhi Kuwait. The World Guinness Record holder Kalamandalam Dhanushya Sanyal graced the cultural show with a beautiful Mohiniyattam performance based on Panchashudhi, Pindanandi & Kundalinipattu of Sree Narayana Guru. Various Associations worldwide actively participated in the event with their art performances done by their members. The audience was entertained till the end by Live Music performance lead by the famous Playback singer & Director Ishaan Dev, Singers Akhila Anand & Samson Siliva
The program General Convenor Mr. Biju Gangadharan delivered the Welcome speech for this event which was presided by the President of Saradhi Kuwait, Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. General Secretary Mr. Biju.C.V, Trust Chairman Mr. Suresh K, Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, VanithaVedhi Chairperson Mrs. Bindu Sajeev & Gurukulam President Ms. Alka Omanakuttan delivered felicitations for the event. The 8 hour long event was concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Saradhi Treasurer Mr. Rajeesh Mullackal. Saradheeyam-2021 will remain in the history of Saradhi Kuwait as an inspiring event which stood against the Covid impacts in support of the Society.
