Sunset at 4:49 pm! Earliest sunset of the year in Kuwait

Kuwait is having early sunset from yesterday, Wednesday, at 4:49 pm, and will continue the same for 16 days until December 9, Kuwaiti astronomer Adel Al-Saadoun said. Sunset at 4:49 pm is the earliest time for sunset for this year, he said.

Al-Saadoun stated that in Kuwait, on March 23, day and night are equal, and on June 20 is the longest day, with 14 hours one minute and 40 seconds between sunrise and sunset. On September 23, night and day are equal again, and on December 21, the night is at its longest length, with 10 hours 15 minutes and 47 seconds between sunset and sunrise.

He indicated that the time of sunset and sunrise varies accordingly, and the earliest sunset in the year was on yesterday, November 24 at 4:49 pm, and will continue until December 9. Earliest sunrise was on June 8th at 4:47 am.
