No more transfer of Visit visa to residence permit

Public Authority for Manpower officially canceled the transfer of the commercial visit to work permits. This was implemented two months before to fill the shortage of workers as a result of the Corona pandemic and to bring expatriate workers to fill the vacancy.

Applications for transfer which have been received through automated system of Public Authority of Manpower will be processed without any obstacles. Any new transfers will be automatically banned by automated system from today.

Meanwhile, the PAM had already started issuing work permits automatically linked to the Ministries of Interior and Health, where several conditions were approved for receiving new workers, including the approval of academic qualifications and vaccination certificates.
