Knanayakayikolsavam 2021 Badminton Tournament

Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association(KKCA) along with Kuwait KCYL has conducted Badminton Tournament in Surah Indoor Stadium, Kuwait on 12th Nov.2021. Tournament was conducted in Boys (Doubles), Girls (Doubles), Senior Gents (Doubles) & Senior Mixed (Doubles) categories. League/Quarter/Semi & Final matches for all categories where conducted.
In Boys (Doubles) category, Marvin Tiji & Jees Joby of Abbassiya Unit 2 became winners and Ciyon Baiju & Nitin Sajan from Salmiya Unit 2 became Runner Up’s.
In Girls (Doubles) category, Saniya Baiju & Nimisha Sajan of Salmiya Unit 2 became winners and Angel Sunil & Betsy Benny from Salmiya Unit 2 became Runner Up’s.
In Senior Mixed (Doubles) category, Mr. Joby Pulikolil & Mrs Deepa Joby of Abbassiya Unit 2 became winners and Mr. Baiju Thomas & Mrs Nisha Simon from Salmiya Unit 2 became Runner Up’s.
In Senior Mens (Doubles) category, Mr. Baiju Thomas & Mr Benson Benny of Salmiya Unit 2 became winners and Mr. Shijumon & Mr Bibin from Fahaheel Unit 2 became Runner Up’s.
In the Prize distribution ceremony KKCA General Secretary Mr. Tenny Abraham delivered Welcome Speech. For the Winners & Runner Up teams Trophy & Cash Prize was distributed and for the Semifinalist medals were garnished by Committee Members and other Senior Members. Memento was presented to Mr. Joby Pulikoli & Mr. Lino Mathew by KKCA President & General Secretary for their outstanding contribution to committee towards organizing badminton tournament remarkably.
Thanks giving speech was rendered by Joint Treasurer Mr. Emmanuel Kurian. KnanayaKayikolsavam 2021 ended followed by singing National Anthem by all members.
Knanyakayikolsavam 2021 organized by KKCA & Kuwait KCYL became grand success due to the hard work and dedication of the members in Organizing Committee, Medical Team, Food Committee, Publicity Committee and Reception Committee. Lot of discussions and planning happened for months together. All age levels of Children, Ladies & Gents where given opportunity to participate in sports events. Also due to the positive approach of members of KKCA lot of registrations in all the categories got received.
By creating an opportunity for the members in KKCA to join together, a healthy atmosphere got emerged which created Friendly moments, Sharing moments, and also uplifting the Spirit of Knanaya Tradition and Love.
KKCA 2021 committee is highly delighted in this achievement and share its gratitude to all the Sponsors and Well-wishers in & out of this Community by helping with Financial Support to make Knanyakayikolsavam 2021 a grand Success.
