Embassy organized Virtual Buyer Seller Meet on Building Materials

Embassy of India in Kuwait in association with Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) organized a Virtual Buyer Seller Meet on Building Materials on 25 October 2021.

Ambassador of India to Kuwait His Excellency Mr. Sibi George delivered his opening remarks and spoke about the strength of Indian Building material sector and opportunities in Kuwait on account of several infrastructure development projects and invited Indian exporters to collaborate with Kuwaiti partners to increase Indian exports to Kuwait. Mr. B. H. Patel, President, CAPEXIL spoke on Indian construction industry. Mr. Rajpal Tyagi, MD, International Interiors gave a tour d’horizon of opportunities for Indian exporters in Kuwaiti market. Mr. Othman Boodai, CEO of Kuwait Rawaisi Company also highlighted growing scope for construction material supplies coming to Kuwait.





Focus of the meet was to encourage sourcing of building materials from India. An interactive session between Buyers and Sellers followed.

Over 40 Indian exporters presented their range of products available for export from India to Kuwait.

A large number of exporters from India and importers from Kuwait participated in the meet.
