Indian Central School ‘Pinks’ it with Aspire Indian International, Aspire Bilingual School and Pakistan English School

Sunday, October 24, 2021

18th October saw an empowering wave of Pink as our Dar Al Salam (DAS) Schools, comprising of Indian Central School, Aspire Indian International School (A Delhi World Public School), Aspire Bilingual School and Pakistan English School, joined hands in spreading awareness on Breast Cancer, the silent invasive enemy of the Century. The day was dedicated to salute the unknown warriors who fought, survived and pledge to spread awareness of Breast Cancer.

Students and Staff pinned a pink ribbon and shone in pink attire. The outreach was to spread the message all the while educating young minds to this sombre reality. Our little Kindergartners too were not to be left behind. Their little curious faces lit up holding a Collage of a Pink Ribbon while their teachers gently explained to them the importance of hygiene and health care. Faculty were encouraged to attend the Breast Cancer Screening by Dr Susonova Nair at the Indian Embassy under the able guidance of Mrs. Joice Sibi, wife of His Excellency Mr. Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait, on 21st October.

ICS is organizing a virtual Breast Cancer Symposium with Dr. Juzer Ali in association with the Indian Doctors Forum (IDF). The event will enlighten viewers on the impact of cancer and reducing the surrounding stigma. Join us in our mission to raise awareness for cancer through our symposium with distinguished Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Juzer Ali, on Saturday 30th October 2021 at 6pm on Facebook Live with Indian Central School.

Please call 55357199 to enrol your child at Indian Central School. We are open for admissions for Academic Year 2022-23.
