IMA Ladies Wing concludes two weeks Seerah Campaign

Indian Muslim Association (IMA) ladies wing had conducted its Seerah campaign program from 1st to 15th of October 2021.

The objective of this campaign was to show the relevance of lessons learned from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). IMA ladies Wing hosted a series of various activities and competitions during this campaign such as Naat (poetry written in honor of Prophet (PBUH) in praising and glorifying Him), Poster Making on sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a Protector of Women’s rights, Power point Presentation on the role of Ummhatul Momineen Wives of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in propagation of Islam and Quiz on “Seerah” (Biography of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The competitions were conducted for Indian ladies residing in Kuwait.

The concluding program was held on Friday 15th of October 2021. The program consisted of a panel discussion held by the members of IMA ladies wing on the topic Muhammad (PBUH) as the benefactor and the ideal leader for all humanity. The discussion highlighted how the prophet (PBUH) inculcated the teachings of Islam at personal as well as social & state level. Whether it is a matter of establishing justice, fighting against crime or creating a space where all are treated equally, the Prophet (PBUH) is an example of a perfectness and ideal role model in all secular as well as religious affairs,” stated by one of the Panelist.

The program shed light on the Priorities of Muslim women in a society. The chief guest for the program was Dr Jawed Mukarram, who said that “Muslim women are capable of making remarkable positive changes in any society. He also threw light on the status of women as well the Arabian society before emergence of Islam. He emphasized how Prophet PBUH uplifted an ignored, humiliated and disregarded section into an independent and free section of humanity. He also highlighted how Prophet PBUH distorted the weakest section human beings into powerful women. He stressed on all that Muslim women need to do is work hard towards understanding the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and implement it in their lives. Through their work, they can portray how dedicated they are towards Allah (PBUH) and His messenger. Thus, they can showcase the true beauty of Islam to others,” stated Dr Jawed Mukarram.

The winners of Seerah campaign were awarded for their outstanding performance. The program was concluded by IMA Ladies Wing Coordinator with her vote of thanks to all the participants. She also thanked the members of IMA who participated actively for two weeks to make this campaign, a successful event.
