No mask in open place; Airport opens with full capacity; Visa open for vaccinated

The Council of Ministers, in its meeting today, adopted a series of decisions for the return of life to normal. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled announced the return of normal life in the State of Kuwait, and the abolition of precautionary measures for the vaccinated.

With the gradual decrease in the number of infection, Kuwait has entered the fifth stage of a gradual return to normal life before the pandemic.

The official spokesman for the government said that the Cabinet agreed to allow the remaining activities including allowing the holding of conferences, weddings and social events from Sunday October 24th. Attendance for these events is limited to the vaccinated people by wearing the mask.

The Council also decided to entrust the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to take measures to ensure the return of worshipers for prayer in mosques from Friday October 22nd by ensuring the application of health requirements such as vaccination, wearing of mask and bringing their own carpet.

The Council of Ministers also agreed that wearing of mask is not mandatory in open places and to abide by it in all closed places from Sunday 24th.

The DGCA has been assigned to implement the third phase of the Kuwait International Airport operation plan and to return to work at the airport at its full capacity, starting from Sunday 24th.

Also, assigned the Ministry of Interior and Public Authority for Manpower to reissue entry visas to the State of Kuwait of all kinds for vaccinated people.
