Indian Hotelier from Kuwait Ashok Kalra participated in the PBD conference on Leveraging the Soft Power of India

Famous Hotelier in Kuwait and the advisor to Indian Business Network Shri Ashok Kalra participated from Kuwait in the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) Conference on ‘Leveraging the Soft Power of India: Goodwill through craft, cuisine and creativity’ organised by the by Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).




The conference was inaugurated by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Shri V. Muraleedharan. "India is so rightly referred to as the melting pot of diverse philosophies, thoughts, and ethos, creating a unique syncretic cultural mix," Minister said in the inaugural speech.

Shri Ashok Kalra is the Managing partner for famous Indian restaurant in Kuwait Mughal Mahal. Famous Indian American Chef Mr Vikas Khanna, Ms Usha Bora from France, Ms Anjana Das from Germany, Ms Shefali Adhikari from Canada and other dignitaries attended the conference, which was held virtually.
