No decision yet on work permit for 60 years and above; Cabinet held a weekly meeting

Kuwait cabinet did not take any decision on the issue of work permits for the expatriates above 60 years of age without University degrees in its weekly meeting on Monday, 27th. According to sources, the topic did not come up in today's meeting. However, it will be discussed in the next session or the Commerce ministry will be authorised to take an appropriate decision, local Arabic media reported quoting sources.

In its meeting today, the Council of Ministers discussed various steps taken by the Ministry of Education regarding the reopening of schools after a gap of 18 months. Arabic schools will reopen on October 3rd. Foreign schools, including Indian schools, had started the new academic year with classroom studies from Sunday, September 26th.
