Pizza Express Kuwait and BDK conducted joint blood donation drive

Pizza express, Kuwait and Blood Donors Kerala- Kuwait Chapter conducted a joint blood donation drive under the auspices of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank. The donation drive was organized at Adan Blood Bank from 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm on September 22,2021. A total of 31 employees of Pizza Express, Kuwait have donated their blood on the occasion.

The blood donation was organized as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices of Pizza Express. The formal inauguration of the camp was done by Pizza Express Restaurant Manager Vishnuprasad. In his inaugural speech , Mr. Vishnu has mentioned that the Pizza Express, Kuwait achieves a balance of business, social and environmental imperatives citing the example of Beach cleaning done by them on the World Beach Day. Pizza Express, Kuwait, Operations Manager Ashish Sikka Presided the function. “Pizza Express see the CSR practices as an opportunity to bring all the employees under an umbrella and subsequently boost the employee ties , while a socio-environmental beneficial act is performed”, said Ashish in his Presidential address.

Pizza Express, Kuwait has honored the healthcare professionals at Adan Blood Bank, who have truly been selfless covid 19 frontline warriors, giving everything to uphold their job responsibilities amidst the unprecedented pandemic crisis. Blood Donors Kerala, Kuwait Chapter volunteer , Yamuna Reghubal has presented the memento to Pizza Express Team as a token of appreciation for the successful organization of the blood donation camp. Pizza Express, Kuwait Business Manager Anupa Benny has welcomed the gathering and BDK volunteer, Jithin Jose has presented the vote of thanks.

Pizza Express, Kuwait executive chef, Manoj Viswambaran has felicitated the employees for coming forward voluntarily for the blood donation drive and presented them with appreciation certificates. The blood donation drive was effectively coordinated by Pizza Express, Kuwait restaurant managers Anand Anto, Salil Chandran, Sigi Roque Viegas , Administrative assistant Rochelle and BDK volunteers Nalinakshan, Binil, Renjana Binil and Vishnu.
