Indians top the list of expatriates who left Kuwait this year

Indian community tops the list of those who left the Kuwait labour market in the first quarter of this year as per the latest statistics issued by Kuwait. According to the report, 21,341 Indians left the Kuwait labour market in the first quarter of 2021, followed by Egyptians with 11,135 departures, and then Bangladeshis with 6,136 workers. This is concerning the private companies.

Among the domestic worker's category, also Indians topped the list of expatriates who left the country in the first quarter with a total number of 10169 Indian domestic workers left the country, followed by 2543 Filipinos. The domestic category witnessed a drop of 17,398 residents during that period.

In the private sector, 1250 Pakistanis left the country during the first quarter while the number of Philippines is 1953. Others include Syria (253), Nepal (4185), Jordan (236), Iran (210), and the rest of the nationalities constitutes 4268.

Regarding the domestic worker's category, 773 Bangladeshi residents left in the period, followed by Ethiopia (177), Nepal (664), Indonesia (22) and 950 other nationalities.
