Chamber of Commerce suggest new proposal on work permits for residents over 60

The Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry submitted a new suggestion before His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled regarding the the decision of the Public Authority for Manpower to ban work permits for residents over sixty years of age without university degree.

According to Al-Rai report the suggestion request to apply this rule only to the new comers after the decision is applied and not to apply this decision on those resident who are already in the country.

Chamber’s president, Muhammad Al-Saqr, explained that the segment covered by the ban has gained its expertise in the Kuwaiti labor market, and the country had invested on them.
