Bilfinger Engineering conducted Beach Clean-up drive at Marina Beach

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities, Bilfinger Engineering and Technologies GmbH Kuwait conducted a beach clean-up activity on the occasion of World Housekeeping Day.

The initiative at Marina Beach has been taken to create awareness that the world is creating more plastic trash each year and much of is ending up in landfills or in the environment and our ocean. Garbage such as cans, plastic water bottles, plastic bags and other containers from beach visitors contributes more to beach pollution.

The aim behind this initiative was to protect the environment and trash pollution as well as to create awareness in the society about the crucial issue of trash pollution at beaches disturbing the aquatic life at large.

Employees of the company cleaned up the garbage and trash from the Marina beach area and spread the awareness on the importance of protecting the beaches.
