‘Cartoons are probably my favourite thing to do’
-Michael Horse

Cartoons are an inevitable part of every childhood and without a doubt the most entertaining aspect in every kid’s life. Kindergarten children of Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Preschool celebrated Cartoon Character Day on September 16 2021.

Watching cartoons helps children with early learning, cognitive and language development and enhances their creativity. They learn good morals, kindness and compassion through their favourite cartoons.

The tiny tots attended online classes dressed in their favourite cartoon characters like Red Riding Hood, Dora, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Superman, Spiderman, Batman and Power Rangers. They were delighted to see their friends in similar attires.

The quiz on identifying various cartoon characters thrilled the little ones. They were shown an educational cartoon on Fire Safety. The highlight of the day was when the KG1 kids made their favourite Minion mask while the KG2 kids made a mask of Sponge Bob. They also performed the Kaboochi dance along with their teacher.

The cartoon day seemed endless as each child had his or her own story of their favourite cartoon to narrate. “Could we celebrate Cartoon Day once again?” was the question that reverberated across in every online class.

Indeed it was a day etched in the memory of every Kindergartener.
