Visit visa open for medical, Educational sector employees

The residency affairs departments started issuing visit visas for residents under medical and educational sectors, local Arabic daily Al-Qabas reported.

According to report, during the past two days, few visit visas were issued for eligible residence who meet the conditions for issuing entry visas.

According to report, three category of people are eligible to get visit visas. Category one, employees of Ministry of Health. All medical personnel working in the Health, Defense, National Guard and National Petroleum Corporation, who are eligible to get family visa for wife and children.

Female medical staff can bring their husbands and sons on a tourist visit visa. They have to sign a pledge that they will not to convert to a residence permit.

Female doctors and nurses working in private hospitals are allowed to bring their children under the age of 16 on a visa to join a family according to the conditions.

Heads of families working in the private educational sector who meet the conditions can bring their wife and children with a family entry visa.

Female teachers working in the private sector can also bring their husbands on a tourist visit visa, with signing a pledge not to transfer.
