"Hindi Diwas" observed in Kuwait

Hindi Diwas was observed with zest and fervour at the Embassy of India, Kuwait, on Tuesday, September 14th.

Ambassador Shri Sibi George administered an oath to the Embassy officials and staff to propagate the use of Hindi on this occasion.




An Audio-Visual Message of External Affairs Minister Dr S Jayshankar was also aired during the occasion. Embassy officers and staff members recite various Hindi prose and poetry during the occasion.

India celebrates Hindi Diwas, also known as Hindi Day, on September 14 every year to commemorate the adoption of Hindi in the Devanagari script as one of the official languages of the nation.
