Monday, September 13, 2021

Within a week of re-starting the direct flights from Egypt and India to Kuwait, 174 flights were operated from Egypt and India. 89 flights came from Egypt in the first week and 85 from India.

The number of passengers on these flights who entered Kuwait during the period from 5 to 11 September reached 17,843, including 10,261 travellers from Egypt and 7,582 from India.

Increasing the capacity to 10,000 passengers per day contributed significantly to operating direct flights after lifting the ban on many countries. The airport movement is going smoothly according to the set plan without any problems, and the coming period will witness increased passenger activities in the airport.

The authorities apply strict health requirements to all travellers at the airport. No passenger is allowed to enter Kuwait unless he meets the requirements.
