Kuwait to have "Floating Restaurants" at Sheikh Jaber bridge

Similar to the lines of 'Floating Restaurants' in Venice, Kuwait is planning to set up floating restaurants and sea restaurants at the Sheikh Jaber causeway project. According to the local Arabic media Al-Qabas report, the Ministry of Trade and Industry agreed to add several new commercial activities, including floating restaurants, sea restaurants etc concepts at the Jaber Bridge islands.

The council of ministers earlier approved the development of Jaber causeway and its surrounding areas for investment purposes. However, issuing licenses for these activities is subject to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance, the report said.
