“Amrita Mahotsavam of Independence”: AJPAK - BDK organized blood donation camp

Alappuzha Jilla Pravasi Association Kuwait (AJPAK) and Blood Donors Kerala (BDK), Kuwait Chapter jointly organized a blood donation camp with the participation of more than 75 blood donors at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center on Friday, 3rd September 2021 as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of India’s independence and 60th anniversary of India-Kuwait diplomatic relations.

As part of AJPAK's charitable work, volunteers donated blood even in this Covid-19 Pandemic situation raising the slogan "Blood Donation Great Donation". The officials said that this is to spread the message in the society that a drop of blood is what sustains a human life.

The meeting was chaired by AJPAK’s President Shri.Rajeve Naduvilemuri and inaugurated by Dr. Roy Thampi Cherian by appreciating AJPAK for the charity services association is extending to the community.

Association’s Patron Babu Panampalli presented the memento to Pramil Prabhakaran in absentia for the invaluable services he rendered to AJPAK. Rajan Thottathil from BDK presented a memento to AJPAK’s President Rajeve Naduvilemuri and Rajeve Naduvilemuri presented a memento to BDK for its performance in blood donation drive in Kuwait.

AJPAK’s Patron Babu Panampalli, BDK’s Patron Manoj Mavelikara, AJPAK General Coordinator Binoy Chandran, AJPAK Treasurer Kurian Thomas and Charity Convener Mathew Chennithala greeted the gathering. AJPAK’s Program General Convener Cyril John Alex Champakulam welcomed the gathering and BDK Coordinator Jayan Sadasivan thanked them. AJPAK’s office bearers Anil Vallikunnam, Biji Pallikkal, Abdul Rahman Punchiri, Prajeesh Mathew, Parimanam Manoj, Libu Payippadan, Sasi Valiyakulangara, Sumesh Krishnan, Sam Antony, Jomon John, Sunitha Kumari, BDK participants Beena, Jolly, Nalinakshan, Hajina Freddie, Sarath, Joby, Lini, Rosmin and Surendramohan provided leadership in organizing the camp.
